Read More →Established in 1966, Bahona College is a co-educational institution affiliated to Dibrugarh University, located 9 km north-east of Jorhat town on the bank of the Brahmaputra. The college offers Higher Secondary and Undergraduate programmes in Arts and Science, along with Distance Education courses under Dibrugarh University, KKHSOU, and ASOS. With 12 departments, 55 faculty members, and around 1200 students, the college is committed to providing quality and inclusive higher education to rural and economically backward communities of Assam.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this website. As one of the oldest institutions of higher education under Dibrugarh University, we have continuously strived to maintain and upgrade our academic, co-curricular and infrastructural quality. This claim is upheld by the steady performance graph of our students in their Final Examinations. Besides, the students of this college have achieved recognition at the state and national level in sports, art and music. Many are employed abroad filling us with pride and determination to work harder.
