As one of the oldest institutions of higher education under Dibrugarh University, we have continuously strived to maintain and upgrade our academic, co-curricular and infrastructural quality. This claim is upheld by the steady performance graph of our students in their Final Examinations. Besides, the students of this college have achieved recognition at the state and national level in sports, art and music. Many are employed abroad filling us with pride and determination to work harder.
The 12 departments with 50 teachers are committed to holistic development of the college. The college is also determined to extend quality services to the villages in the neighbourhood with an aim to create a cohesive community. Extensive works and outreach programmes carried out by different cells and societies are aimed at harnessing our collective resources for a better society. These reflect our commitment and deep engagement with the social causes. The college collaborates with various agencies at the state, national and international level to organize academic and extension activities.
We, at Bahona College, adhere strictly to the rules as explained in the prospectus and follow a policy of zero tolerance towards sexual harassment at workplace. We maintain an organic relation with all the stakeholders of this college to provide a healthy and congenial environment to the college fraternity.
